The 2022/23 Métiers d'art CHANEL – DAKAR collection exudes a seventies spirit.
Textured fabrications, warm colours, and
relaxed silhouettes pay tribute to the
creative effervescence of Dakar as much as
to the savour-faire of the 19M ateliers. 

Denim is given a sparkling twist, while interwoven pearls and white lacy crochet lend a romantic touch, amidst the intricately worked camellias so emblematic of the House.

Held at the Palais de Justice in Dakar, this special show was designed to focus the spotlight on a variety of local collaborators, including Senegalese rapper Nix, singer Obree Daman, and the local Ecole des Sables dance school.
