CREATIVE PROMPTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

This month’s full moon falls in the sign of Pisces, a water sign that is charged with potent creative energy. So this month, we are looking to those great fields of blue—the ocean and the sky—to fill our creative cup.

French poet Jean Cocteau was enamoured with the colour blue. His poetry explored the secret of blue, along with ‘these seedlings of stars and these fields of blue’.

‘The secret of blue is well kept,’ he writes in Le Secret du Bleu. ‘Blue comes from far away. In reality, one doesn’t know. One speaks of Prussian blue. In Naples, the virgin stays in the cracks of walls when the sky recedes.’
